The views of the author on the cost value of the peripheral equipment used in the printing of apparels are presented. Screen printers have mistakenly placed a higher value on raw materials and core-consumables than they allocate to conversion cost while printing on T-shirts. Screen printing of T-shirts has to consider the labor, time and other expenses above the cost of printing on the T-shirts. If the vacuum security blanket needs a change, it must be changed otherwise it requires the other costs include reshoots, pinholes, premature stencil breakdown, loss of detail, and the frustration of incessant screen wiping during the press-run. Expensive screen mesh is the gauze that is used to stop the bleeding caused by old blades. Buying more holders and blades will help to reduce meshes.
