摘要
The single particle bismuth spheres with sizes in the range of 1-1.5 mu m were prepared by ethylene glycol (EG) reducing bismuth nitrate in the presence of PVP. The optimum reaction conditions to prepare monodispersed bismuth microspheres were investigated. The structure, size, morphology, and dispersity of bismuth spheres were detected by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and optical microscope. The results indicate that spherical particles with mesoscale dimensions are prepared at 200 degrees C for more than 40 h. The dispersion and stability of the bismuth microspheres are well in ethanol.
