Based on the radiative transfer theory, the linear spatial translation invariance of light transporting in biological tissues is discussed comprehensively. And on this base, a system model is developed to describe the problem of light transporting in layered biological tissues. The Monte Carlo method serves as a criterion to evaluate its high efficiency and accuracy. The result shows that the system model can improve the computational efficiency greatly under the same accuracy, compared with Monte Carlo method. Then, the system model is used to analyze the problem of a converging beam propagating in layered biological tissues. And the influences of convergence angle on the light distribution in biological tissues are discussed comprehensively.
