摘要
To further investigate the resource potential of biogenic and thermogenic gases and its contribution to natural gas hydrate in the Qiongdongnan Basin, two typical sections in Qiongdongnan gas hydrate exploration area were chosen to build the geological model. In combination with physical, thermal and geochemical data, the process of gas hydrate accumulation was simulated by basin modeling computer programs. The results show that there is gas hydrate stability zone with thickness of 220-340m in the Qiongdongnan Basin; biogenic gas and thermogenic gas are abundant, which could be the resource for hydrate accumulation; migration pathways of gas in the basin are favorable for hydrate formation. Finally, the hydrate accumulation geological models in the basin were discussed according to gas resource and its migration characteristics.
