In this paper, the noise characteristics of impinging jet on conical obstacle with different cone angles are investigated. Acoustical data such as overall sound pressure level and noise spectrum are obtained by acoustic measurement experiments. The analysis results show that the influence of cone angle on the noise characteristics of impinging jet varies with the change of impinging distance. At the same time, the flow field of the impinging jet is simulated. The main noise sources of the impinging jet with different impinging distances and cone angles are analyzed combined with the simulation results of flow field and experimental results of acoustic field. In addition, the noise directivity of impinging jet is investigated. The distribution of overall sound pressure level of impinging jet is presented with different impinging distance, location of monitoring point and cone angles. © 2020, Science Press.
