摘要
In designing the non-contact tonometer, for providing the basis of numerical analysis on the designed structure and the nozzle size, a numerical model of non-contact tonometer nozzle was established by using the multi-physics coupling analysis software COMSOL Multiphysics. The size of the nozzle was optimized by modifying the parameters of radii and length. The distributions of pressure and velocity at a rated distance was analysed when the nozzle spraying mist to the cornea to get a certain plane. The simulation results show that the optimal spray parameters of the non-contact tonometer nozzle are radius of 1 mm, length of 20 mm, and the rated distance from the nozzle of 10.5mm. The experimental results show that on this condition the nozzle of the non-contact tonometer can provide an appropriate jet pressure range for intraocular pressure measurement when the spraying air flow deforms the cornea to a plane of certain diameter. ©, 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society.
