The attitude control problem of flexible satellites is discussed under the framework of the optimal control for switched dynamical systems. First, according to the movement model of the flexible satellite attitude adjustment, and considering the cooperation of two actuators control, the attitude control problem is transformed into an optimal switching control problem. Then, the complete algorithm is given to solve the above optimal switching control problem based on the particle swarm optimization and Powell algorithms. Finally, an example of three-order flexible satellite systems is presented to testify the viability of the proposed approach. ©, 2014, Chinese Institute of Electronics. All right reserved.
