Preparation and properties of polyacrylate/polysiloxane IPN damping material

摘要
High quality polymer damping materials was synthesized by interpenetrating networks polymerization using polysiloxane and acrylate. The damping property was measured by material testing system(810-MTS). The result shows that when the optimal ratio of poly (n-butylmethacrylate) to polysiloxane is 80:20, the characteristic viscosity is 54.5 mPa·s and the ratio of crosslinking agent is 8%, the damping factor tanδmax is up to 1.4. The phase morphology of damping material was also observed by atomic force microscope(AFM), the results show that the microstructure of phase separation of damping material possessing both effective interpenetrating polymer network and a certain extent phase separating, can have excellent damping properties.
