The renaissance to survive and prosper from building-IT convergence that is occurring in real time in the the industry are discussed. A renaissance is the happenings in the world of building automation connectivity, and a rethinking process to do anything, while immersing in a new IP/IT culture. Cisco Connected Real Estate (CCRE) is expected to bring huge financial and operational advantages to the construction, real estate, property services industries, hotel operators, multiplexed retail outlets, and corporate tenants. The purpose of the Cisco Sponsored Roundtable at BuilConn is to discuss the needs of building owners of the building owners and the issues regarding the supply of products and services. The context of the roundtable is the increasing adoption of IP-centric systems in building systems. Some of the stated laws provide the way to envision the value of connectivity to devices.
