摘要:
This article is a continuation of a work concerning homogenization of corrugated board. Homogenization is a process that allows to replace the heterogeneous structure of corrugated board with a homogeneous surrogate model. Through an appropriate choice of effective parameters in surrogate model one can obtain results similar to those that are generated by the structural model. The second part of the paper presents numerical homogenization techniques of sandwich panels with a periodic core structure. Numerical homogenization techniques are based here on the finite element method. The paper summarizes the effective parameters obtained from analytical and numerical methods. The comparison of the results obtained from the structural model and the simplified models is also presented.
