An optical Analog-to-digital conversion based on tuning micro-resonator was proposed. The crystal of Ti-LiNbO3 was used as the medium of the running micro-resonator when the refractive index of the micro-resonator was changed with analog signal by electrode; the resonant wavelength was changed in the cavity. The different levels of analog signal were denoted by the different resonant wavelength. The parameters of 4-bit optical analog-to-digital conversion were designed with the theoretic of the transmission matrix of optical element and eletro-optic effects. The conclusion that the minimum sampling time is 0.058310-9 s or the maximum sampling rate is 17.15 G count/s of 4-bit optical analog-to-digital is got by the time of setting steady-state light field.
