Application of artificial neural network in materials study

摘要：
The basic principle and characteristic of artificial neural network (ANN) were introduced resumptively. The paper mainly described the application of ANN in some facets of material science and technology engineering, such as material property forecasting, technology parameters optimizing, study of phase-transformation rules, simulation of microstructure evolution and so on. Some problems which existed in the study of ANN were analyzed, at the same time, the application prospect of ANN was described.
