摘要
Based on tests of 48 pull-out specimens, bond properties of AFRP rebars in C50 normal strength concrete, C50 high performance concrete, epoxy resin and grout were systematically investigated. The test results showed that the modes of failure for pull-out specimens with AFRP rebars included pull-out failure and splitting failure. The failure mode did not significantly affect the bond strength of pull-out specimens. The experiment also showed that the bond strength of AFRP rebars in concrete was 0.79 to 1.11 times that of the deformed steel rebars. The bond strength of AFRP rebars in normal strength concrete was about 10% higher than that in high performance concrete. Compared with the AFRP rebars in concrete, the bond strength was higher than that in epoxy resin but lower than that the grout. Generally, the bond strength of AFRP rebars decreases with the diameter increasing. In addition, the calculation methods for the bond strength of AFRP rebars in the concrete were discussed. ©, 2015, Tongji University. All right reserved.
