摘要
The topic of innovation speed gains in importance due to the shortening of product life cycles. Losses caused by a delayed market entry cannot be compensated during the product life cycle anymore. Especially, when products are not developed and produced by one company alone but due to their complexity or technical characteristics in cooperation with other companies, the innovation process gets increasingly time-consuming. In the course of this article, a methodology to configure distributed development networks will be introduced which was developed within the research project Engineering.net z.ast;. This methodology supports users to identify fitting partners for a development project and to evaluate the development network in advance. This procedure will be integrated in a construct of further methods whose combination result in a comprehensive procedure model to configure processes in distributed development networks.
