Correct pricing has always been considered a difficult and vital issue in production and is still a key criterion for attracting new customers. Especially customized production is characterized by an inconsistent and subjective supply calculation. In addition, dynamic costs which have an important influence on the pricing are not given an adequate attention. This paper introduces an approach to apply pricing mechanisms of the stock-market to the pricing process in the tool and mold manufacturing industry. This approach allows more efficient pricing depending on time dynamic cost components. The first part of the paper details the problems in bid calculation of the tool and mold manufacturing industry. The second part illustrates the pricing mechanisms of the virtual stock-market and presents first approaches of possible transmissions.
