Based on boundary element method (BEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach, the computational procedure system for the hydrodynamic performance of oceanic floating platform in deepwater is developed, including calculation of motion and loads in waves, prediction of slamming loads, inspection of air-gap, analyses of riser dynamic responses, evaluation for mooring and dynamic positioning system, solution and its engineering application of water entry and exit problem, and so on. All of the calculation and/or prediction results can be used as reference for application to design practice with engineering satisfactory accuracy.
