Further new or little known Neotropical species of Platygastrinae (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae)

The following 11 species are described as new: Acerotella guanacastensis, Leptacis inca, L. venezuelensis, Metaclisis tschirnhausi, Metanopedias tschirnhausi, Platygaster kruegeri, P. striatiscutum, P. venezuelensis, Synopeas nigricorne, S. politiventre and Trichacis tschirnhausi. New records are given for Platygaster dentata Buhl 2001 and Synopeas recurvatum Buhl 2005, and the hitherto unknown female of the last-mentioned species is described. A key to the Neotropical species of Acerotella is provided. © 2015, © 2015 Taylor & Francis.
