摘要
The research embodied in this paper presents the characteristics of pedestrians and bicycles conglomeration of the green time on the crosswalks, so as to study the signal control strategy and the traffic simulation of the signalized intersection. Firstly, a new definition of the pedestrians and bicycles conglomeration is presented under analyzing the releasing characteristic in the signalized intersection crosswalks of green time. Then, a new method is used which is that the crosswalk is divided for many uniform suppositional grids. Based on this new method of suppositional grids, the shape, the area, the position, as well as the occupation ratio of the space of the pedestrians and bicycles conglomeration is described. Finally, the signalized intersection of Beijing pingleyuan is taken for example, with the new method the occupation ratio of the space of the pedestrians and bicycles conglomeration is calculated. The result shows that the occupation ratio of the space of the conglomeration increases during the movement processes.
