Simulation of three-phase four-wire shunt active power filter

摘要
With the proliferation of nonlinear loads as power electronics equipment, the harmonic destroys the quality of power grid seriously. Active power filter is a new harmonic restraint device comparing with passive filter, which is a power electronic device. This paper inspected harmonics current based on the instantaneous reactive power theory of three-phase circuit and simulated three-phase four-wire shunt active power filter. The simulation results prove the parameter reasonable. The outcome indicates that active power filter can eliminate harmonic of electrical source current and neutral current effectively.
