摘要
M-type barium ferrite was prepared using auto-combustion-Sol-Gel method. Factors that would affect the product composition during the fabrication process, including the calcination temperature and concentration of dispersant were analyzed. The experimental results show that calcination temperature has a significant effect on the product composition. However, the concentration of the dispersant has little effect on product composition but has a great effect on the grain size and distribution of the powder. Through analysis on M-type barium ferrite's magnetic property, the optimum condition for the preparation of M-type barium ferrite was obtained: calcining for three hours at the mass concentration of 20 g/L polyethylene glycol and at a temperature of 850℃ without pre-calcining at 450℃
