摘要
Adams and Neumann (2024) (hereafter A&N24) provided a polemic on the use of the Olson model for estimating litter accumulation and fire risk in Australian forest types. However, some of their commentary doesn't properly acknowledge modern mathematical modelling approaches and fails to consider different implementations and extensions to the Olson model that could be used to address their concerns.
