In recent years, multigranulation approach is a new arisen data analyzing model. In order to extend the theory of MGRS in complex incomplete grey fuzzy information system, the objective of this paper is to develop a multigranulation rough set in the framework of neighborhood system theory. Then a new neighborhood relation is proposed in incomplete grey fuzzy information system by using grey fuzzy values. Moreover, based on proposed neighborhood relation, a new Neighborhood-based multigranulation rough set in incomplete grey fuzzy information system is presented, and some of its important properties are investigated and the results of experimental analysis show that the proposed method is effective. © 2014 Binary Information Press
