Experiment on thermodynamic parameters of soils under secondary freeze-thaw action

摘要
The characteristics of three kinds of soils from one Shanghai soft soil project in different state (original state, freeze-thaw state, secondary freeze-thaw) were tested in laboratory, and the results were analyzed. The change rules of soil thermodynamic characteristics were found: Compared with first freezing, freezing point, thermal conductivity, heat capacity, frost heave force and frost heave factor all decrease, whereas thaw settlement increases under secondary freeze-thaw action.
