摘要
The interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs) have excellent magnetic flux weakening performance and torque output ability and are thus widely used in electric vehicles. However, the dynamic eccentricity (DE) fault often occurs in motors due to many factors, such as installation errors and irregular wear. The rapid detection and removal of the DE fault at the early stage will effectively ensure the stability and safety of electric vehicles. Therefore, this article takes the electromagnetic vibration of IPMSMs as the research object using theoretical derivation, finite element simulation, and prototype experiment methods to investigate DE fault effects. A universal electromagnetic vibration analysis process for DE IPMSMs is proposed considering the stator resonance and rotor saliency effect. Moreover, the iconic spatiotemporal characteristics of the radial electromagnetic force of DE IPMSMs are summarized. This study lays a good foundation for the nondestructive detection and fault degree diagnosis of the DE fault in IPMSMs.
