摘要
This paper presents a basic model, describing the correlation between the commonality within the Order Penetration Point and the smoothing of the flow of requirements upstream of the Order Penetration Point. The smoothing results mainly in a reduction of the minimal safety stock and in a smoothened production upstream of the Order Penetration Point. In addition possible potentials within the Order Penetration Point will be shown. © Springer-VDI-Verlag GmbH & Co. KG, Düsseldorf.
