Three- level SVPWM controller design based on FPGA

Compared with traditional two-level inverter, the multilevel inverter has many advantages such as large output power and small output harmonic. And also it is one of the hot research subjects in recent years. Although SVPWM control is an excellent control method, its space vectors is exponential with the increase of the number of output levels of the multilevel inverters. If the SVPWM is controlled by DSP, a lot of components can be used. So this paper puts forward a new method which SVPWM signals generate by PGFA directly. The fact has proved that pure hardware design is feasible and has rapid response rate, facile programming and online configuration. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
