摘要
Here, based on differential equation of circular arch vibration, a line spring model based on fracture mechanics was introduced to analyze in-plane free vibration characteristics of circular arch with a single crack. Based on the perturbation theory, modal changes of circular arch with different crack locations and crack depths were revealed. At the same time, combined with the finite element model, different effects of internal and external cracks on structural modal parameters of circular arch were compared. Finally, the applicability and reliability of the established mechanical calculation model for cracked circular arch were verified using damaged arch test data. The results showed that in arch structure, dependences of various modes on crack damage are different; when damage approaches peak value point or fixed end of a certain mode, the mode' s natural frequency decreases significantly; in the same order mode, crack on arch outer side is sensitive to damage at the position where the modal shape peak value is larger, while crack on arch inner side is sensitive to damage at the position where the modal shape peak value is smaller. © 2023 Chinese Vibration Engineering Society.
