Study on stability and electricity catalytic properties of Ti/SnO2+Sb2Ox/PbO2 acid-proof anode

Acid-proof Ti/SnO2+Sb2Ox/PbO2 anode with SnO2+Sb2Ox interlayers were prepared by electrodepositing method. Conductivity and accelerated service life of the electrode were determined by AC impedance experiment and at 4 A/cm2 respectively. The cyclic voltammetry curve of Ti/SnO2+Sb2Ox/PbO2 electrodes was examined in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 solution in three electrodes system with scanning speed changes, and the fractal dimensions of the electrode surface were quantitatively calculated under the different Sb doping ratios simultaneously, the relation between fractal dimension and electrocatalysis performance of evolution oxygen in acid solution was discussed emphatically. The results indicated that the conductivity of the anode reached a maximum and the accelerated service life of it is up to 89 h when the doping ratio is 0.06. The Ti/SnO2+Sb2Ox/PbO2 electrode is an ideal anode materials in acidic solution, when Sb doping ratios were 0.02 and 0.10 the fractal dimension of Ti/SnO2+Sb2Ox/PbO2 electrode were higher, and electrocatalytic activity were also higher than other conditions.
