摘要
Transmit power control technology contributes as a fundamental part in fault tolerant topology control, through which reliably-connected and highly efficient topology can be constructed. Centralized Transmit Power Control algorithm (CTPC) is firstly proposed. Its correctness, as well as its optimal property, namely minimizing the maximum communication radius, is formally proved. CPTC is then extended to two distributed versions, namely Global knowledge based Distributed Transmit Power Control algorithm (GDTPC) and Localized Distributed Transmit Power Control algorithm (LDTPC). Their corresponding correctness is proved and optimal property is discussed in details. LDTPC employs local knowledge only and suits well in large scaled wireless sensor network.
