摘要
Is agility the enemy of standardization? What does customer orientation mean for supply logistics? Does the implementation of a production system consider total process optimization sufficiently? The following article takes up that questions and illuminates them with a holistic understanding of supply logistics. Thereby new challenges arise from the increased demands of the "second lean wave", from global supply structures and a turbulent environment. Agility becomes to a success factor if volatility increases. Agile supply chains respond quickly and appropriate to crises. Furthermore, a rapid switch to a reasonable mode of growth can be achieved. An agile supply logistics optimizes supply chain structures and processes proactively. © Carl Hanser Verlag, München.
