In this work are determined the current's and voltage's values absorbed by the d.c. motor from the componency of a 5MVA locomotive in short-circuit regime. The measures are determined by means of an analyzer of electric power's quality on a locomotive from the periodic testing station. Are determined also the values of the harmonic distorsion factor and of the current's and voltage's harmonics. The acquired data recorded in the analyzer's memory are passed afterwards into a computing system that allows their further analysis.
