Multicarrier direct-sequence code-division-multiple-access (MC-DS-CDMA) system performance was evaluated on multipath channel. Rake receiver and maximal-ratio combination (MRC) were used for each subcarrier. The statistics of the useful components and interference of the received signal were calculated and bit error rate (BER) expression was achieved. Simulations were carried out to examine the BER performances considering of number of users, the parameter of fading amplitude and fading coefficient of the multipath intensity profile. Results show that the achieved BER expression is universal. BER on various multipath channels can be obtained by changing channel parameters. Results also show that BER changes remarkably with the number of users and the parameter of fading amplitude but slightly with the fading coefficients of the multipath intensity profile.
