Effect of Eringen's nonlocality and memory on the response of a generalized thermoelastic medium with spatially varying heat source in the context of three-phase-lag model

摘要
This investigation deals with the thermoelastic interactions in a homogeneous, isotropic generalized thermoelastic infinite medium with exponentially varying heat source. The study has been carried out in the context of three-phase-lag model of generalized thermoelasticity considering Eringen's nonlocal theory and memory-dependent derivative (MDD). The governing equations for displacement, temperature and thermal stress are obtained in Laplace-Fourier double transform domain by applying Laplace and Fourier transform techniques. The solution of governing field equations is obtained in the Laplace transform domain using Cauchy's residue theorem. Utilizing the Stehfest method for numerical Laplace inversion, the solution for different thermophysical quantities are obtained in the actual space-time domain and the acquired numerical data for various thermophysical quantities are plotted in graphs to study the impacts of different relevant parameters. Analysis of the generalized thermoelastic interactions under varying heat source subject to Eringen's nonlocality and memory-dependent derivative is relatively new.
