Azelaic acid was prepared by oleic acid with the oxidant composed hydrogen peroxide and ozone, the influence factors on the reactive activity was investigated, which including the concentration and amount of hydrogen peroxide and ozone, the using time of ozone for oxidation, the different types of catalytic system composed tungsten and quaternary ammonium. The results showed that the yield of azelaic acid was 71% with the optimum proportion of catalyst to raw material, the reactive temperature was 70°C, the oxygenolysis time was 8 h.
