摘要
The back-up roll is used to support working roll and intermediate roll in the process of rolling, at the same time to prevent the occurrence of flexural deformation of working roll and affect the quality of strip shape, whose quality directly affects the quality and production of plates. The distribution of stress determines the failure shape of it. In this paper, the stress distribution of back-up roll in hot rolling is analyzed by FEM (Finite Element Method), and it can be seen that the FEM result is in accordance with the actual mode of back-up roll. It is of significance in life prediction and reliability assessment of back-up roll. Copyright © 2015 Binary Information Press.
