Comprehensive explore contrast the development characteristics of leisure sports at China and America. The literature material law, comparative analysis, case study method. The leisure sports development of China started later than America, the different historical background produced different characteristics in the leisure sports at China and America. The Chinese classification of leisure sports industry, less than industry variety, large scale American leisure sports industry in China lags behind that of the whole national economy, GDP and America of leisure sports industry is the pillar industry of national economy growth. Chinese education idea and course structure of leisure sports industry attention degree is far behind the pace of American permanent education concept and system science curriculum structure (America). The Chinese leisure sports industry is short of consumption main body, and operator’s cultural level is significantly lower than the America. Chinese leisure sports industry the management mode of the government’s macroeconomic regulation and control is given priority to, with America market of autonomic regulation means different. Due to the difference of social and economic environment at China and America, urbanization started in the morning and evening, determines the leisure sports industry industrial structure, economic status, education status and management mode of different, further put forward the development direction of leisure sports industry in China. © 2015, UK Simulation Society.
