摘要
This study aimed at investigating the protective effect of mogroside extract (MG) against ethanol-induced L-02 hepatocytes injury in vitro. The results showed that no obvious cytotoxicity was observed on cultured L-02 hepatocytes at a dose 10-500 μmol/L. Pretreatment with 100 or 200 μmol/L MG has restored the shape and growth of L-02 near normal group (P<0.05). Furthermore, pretreatment with 50-200 μmol/L MG remarkably decreased the activities of ALT and LDH on L-02 cell culture supernatant and intracellular MDA level (P<0.05) together with significant increase in intracellular SOD activity and GSH level (P<0.05). These findings indicated that pretreatment with MG maintained L-02 membrane integrity, enhanced cellular antioxidant ability and prevented lipid peroxidation. That meaned that MG suppressed ethanol-induced hepatocytes injury in vitro. ©, 2015, Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology. All right reserved.
