IMAGE Preview: Expand your horizons at IMAGE '22

The International Meeting for Applied Geoscience from August 28 to September 1, 2022 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. More than 8000 attendees will browse exhibits and take part in presentations, short courses, technical sessions, panel discussions, and special events. IMAGE ’22 will be hosted by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) in conjunction with the Society for Sedimentary Geology (SEPM). The opening session will feature the addresses of the president of SEG, Anna Shaughnessy, and the president of AAPG, Steven Goolsby. Guest speakers will participate in a discussion about the energy transition while highlighting pros and cons of the topic. The point-and-counterpoint format will explore both sides of the energy transition.
