To study the sensitivity of attack zone of air-to-air missile influenced by random wind and error of lift-drag ratio, considering the error of lift-drag ratio, random wind model and so on, a great deal of numerical flight simulation was carried out to obtain 3D attack zones under all kinds of circumstance based on an air-to-air missile model and the 3-D proportional guidance law. The error of lift-drag ratio and random wind model were considered. The numerical simulation results show that the random wind and the error of lift-drag ratio distinctly influence the shape and size of attack zones. This shows that the attack zones of air-to-air missile are very sensitive to random wind and the error of lift-drag ratio. Therefore, random wind and error of lift-drag ratio should be considered while calculating the attack zones. This conclusion has the real importance for practical engineering design and air-to-air fighting.
