摘要
The paper grounds on the traditional GIS spatial algorithms and the multi-core hardware condition, chooses the share storage model which combining with data paralleling for parallel strategies designing. A strategy of spatial data replicating is promoted to avoid the consumption of synchronization from share storage model and maintain the integrity of spatial vector data, making it possible to own the independent operational data between tasks. Different parallel computing strategies are put forward to correspond the different operations of overlay analysis for spatial vector data, and the efficiency of overlay analysis in the multi-core computer is effectively increased. The experiment illustrates the feasibility and effectiveness of parallel spatial overlay strategies, discusses the degree of efficiency improvement and core efficiency of usage when using the strategies to operate overlay analysis under different core number. © Sila Science.
