A design procedure was presented for guaranteed cost control for stability considering the communication delay and asynchronism between the plant and controller in networked control systems. First, the uncertainty of time delays are converted to the uncertainty of the parameter matrices, then the state feedback control law is designed under the consideration of the requirement of bounded-control signals, and the sufficient conditions are gained for stability of the closed-loop system using Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, the feedback gain and performance measure are obtained through resolving the LMIs. Finally, the simulated application in DC motor system shows the validity of the proposed method and compared with the compensation method, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.
