摘要
In order to study the bearing capacity and ductility of the joints in a buckling restrained brace concrete frame (BRBCF), two different types of joints are designed, including the joint with a section steel gusset plate and the joint with a stud gusset plate. The finite element analysis software of ABAQUS is adopted to analyze the performance of the two joints and calculate the force-displacement curves through two different loading modes. The ultimate bearing capacities and the ductility of the joints are compared. Then failure modes and transferring mechanism are analyzed to provide a relative reference for the engineering application.
