Multi-user detection based on TH-UWB using serial interference cancellation

摘要
From time hop-ultra wide-band (TH-UWB) s signal structure, a novel low complexity multi-user detector for TH-UWB systems is proposed by using the serial interference cancellation method, in which a multistage structure was used and the users were ranked according to the interference of the users pulses to detect the user with minimal interference firstly. The detected results of the earlier stages were feedback to re-build the users signals subtracted from the received signal. The process gains of every stage were maximized by the detector to enhance the performances. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this detector achieves better performance than that of single user matched filter.
