Analysis of the correlation in space-time correlation channel model for MEMO

摘要
With the growing importance of MIMO system, for making best use of the MIMO system in complicated wireless environment, it needs to analyze the effect of the wireless environment on the system. In MIMO, the correlation of the channel has an obvious effect on the system, especially on the capacity. This paper derives the close-form expression of the correlation coefficient in microcellular, based on the geometrical method. At last, the simulation results account for the effect of the distance between the antenna elements on the correlation coefficient. The close-form of the correlation can help the design of MIMO system.
