Improving method of cycle slip detection and correction based on combination of gps pseudo range and carrier phase observations

In the classical method which use pseudo range and carrier phase combination to detect and repair cycle slips, the precise P-code must be used, so the application area of the classic method is limited. The method is improved by considering the ionosphere residual error combination, the improved formulas are derived and the conditions of combinations which can detect and repair cycle slips are also given. Two experiments are made to test the effect of using L1,-1, L-3,4, L-7,9 and L-14,18 combinations. Experiment results show that the improved method can detect and correct all simulated cycle slips of the static observations and almost whole cycle slips of the kinematic observations.
