摘要
Performance study of a two phase closed thermosyphon was experimentally investigated. The experiments were carried out for different filling ratios of 30 to 90% with input heat transfer rates of 0 to 1000 W and for various working fluids such as distilled water, ethanol, methanol and acetone. Investigations were focused to find the influence of the filling ratio, maximum heat transport capability for various working fluids in a vertical two phase closed thermosyphon. The maximum heat transport capability was found to be high for water compared to other fluids such as ethanol, methanol and acetone, at the operating temperatures higher than 40°C. © 2010 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
