摘要
Large-scale wind power systems in China are equipped with ample dynamic reactive power compensation equipment. However, most of the equipment is not performing optimally as desired for failing to adjust reactive power promptly to control the voltage of wind power system. In order to find out the problems of the dynamic reactive power compensation equipment, and thus to take effective measures, performance of the dynamic reactive power compensation devices were analyzed based on the operating data from 2011 to 2014 of an actual large-scale wind power system. The problems of the equipment could be ascribed as low usage rate, low operational reliability, slow dynamic response speed, inconformity with nominal capacity, improper control strategies, insufficient margin of adjustable reactive power, etc. Suggestions for improving performance of the dynamic reactive compensation equipment and the safety operation level of large-scale wind power system were proposed. ©, 2015, Power System Technology Press.
