摘要
The method of ensemble empirical mode decomposition has been developed for nonlinear and non-stationary signal. The method can be applied to the feature extraction and classification of ship radiated noise. Three different types of ship radiated noises were chosen to perform the energy analysis. After pretreatment, the ship radiated noise was decomposed into several intrinsic mode functions by ensemble empirical mode decomposition, and the energy difference between the high and low frequency was extracted and analyzed. The results show that the energy difference between the high and low frequency is at the same level for similar ships, but there is obvious difference for different types of ships. Therefore, it is concluded that the energy difference between the high and low frequency can be used as a new feature of ship signals. It provides an alternative for detecting and recognizing underwater target signals. ©, 2015, Chinese Vibration Engineering Society. All right reserved.
