摘要
Edward C. Niehenke discusses how he received ten inquiries from IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) members from August 9, 2011 to October 5, 2011. All inquiries were typically acted upon within one week, and replies were sent to all MTT-S members. One member wanted contact information for another person, which was provided. Contact information for many MTT-S members is found by visiting www.mtt.org then 'Committee' then 'Contact Information for Volunteers' then 'Volunteer Directory.' Another member wanted to form an IEEE Student Chapter at his college. Edward redirected him to a website that offered details on how to form a Student Branch as well as a Student Chapter. One member wanted information about the various technical committees of the MTT-S. Edward informed the person that there are 26 technical committees of the MTT-S ranging from MTT-1 Computer-Aided Design to MTT-26 Wireless Energy Transfer and Conversion.
