Control of paralleled single phase inverters based on CAN bus

The parallel operation of inverters has been proved to be not only an effective method to increase the capacity of the power system, but also a good way to improve the reliability of it. In order to improve the redundancy and simplify the synchronization control, a solution of the competed-master is put forward. A full digital parallel strategy of the competed-master synchronization and current-sharing control adopted controller area network (CAN) bus based on digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320LF2407A to communication is proposed. The method of realizing this system in hardware and software are described in detail in this paper. Finally, a prototype with two single phase inverters parallel modules is set up and experimental data verify the feasibility of the proposed control scheme.
